CLASSICAL SHELL SPOON REST

I got really narky about getting sauce stains on my kitchen surfaces so I made something that looked good and was practical too, problem solved! Not sure how I survived before.
My classical shell design is based on a naive copy of Botticelli’s Birth of Venus, painted on a chair that a family friend found in a seaside cafe.
Wash by hand. Over time, this glaze will start to crackle, adding to the charm of the piece, this is normal.
